well, the new year is upon us and in Lewes, Delaware so is our first major nor'easter. The wind is howling and before it's over we expect a foot or more of snow. I remember when we didn't get this much in a year.
If you are sitting down on a cold winter night, watching TV and you don't know where that draft is coming from. Look up. If you have recessed lighting, it's probably coming from there.
A simple fix to eliminate a lot of that draft is a bead of caulk applied between the fixture and edge of the drywall. You will be surprised how much air gets in around those lights.
