Multi-Generational Living
Click on the photo to the left and take a look at some Before and After photos of this major addition in Wilmington, Delaware. The Remodeling Project took this home from the past into the future with the addition of a new first-floor in-law suite with a full bath, a separate entrance with no steps, another half bath and full laundry room/mudroom on the first floor. On the second floor, we designed a covered roof deck and then placed solar panels on the roof. We incorporated Universal Design and the ultimate in Green Energy with the addition of solar to this wonderful family home.

Victorian Renovation
Click on the photo to the left and take a look at the Before and After photos of portions of this Historic Remodeling Project. Located on one of the main streets in the Lewes Historic District, the porch needed to be totally rebuilt and windows replaced. The choice of materials and the finished porch needed to look as if it were the original porch.
Everything was subject to the approval of the Historic Review Committee. This kind of project takes a lot of research, design and attention to detail. Whenever possible, the original was preserved and matched by custom-designed pieces to maintain the look of this charming home.

Farmhouse Remodel
Located within the new Milton Historic District, this home was in need of major renovation when the owner made the purchase. If you take a look at the Before photos, you realize that the Buyer needed a lot of vision to know how beautiful the home could be. In addition to building the new/old sun porch on the front of this historic home, there were substantial structural repairs and modifications to the kitchen, baths, and all the main living areas.
This was a major project that everyone notices because of the beautiful front porch, but the interior is just as warm and charming. Combining the historic charm with updates that add efficiency and livability increased the value of this home dramatically.

Pond Front Home Renovation
Combining the charm of a pond front cottage with the modern conveniences of today was the focus of this total renovation. Expanding the living space and opening up the rooms to bring in natural light and focusing on the wonderful views of Hearns Pond. First floor living makes this home a natural for downsizing and low maintenance living. Everything old is new again with an eclectic mix of the modern kitchen and the owners antiques and collectibles.

Addition/Remodel
Another Historic Home Renovation in the Milton Historic District. This project included the addition of a spacious cedar screened porch off the kitchen, kitchen remodel and the addition of a first floor bathroom with a 3' by 6' shower and additional closet/storage space.
The goal of this project was to enhance the livability of a historic home by making it possible to live on the first floor. There are subtle ways to make a home accessible if it is done within the context of a planned remodeling project.

Historic Milton Renovation
This Historic Home in the heart of Milton had badly deteriorated and was in need of a total makeover. Our crew took it down to the studs and rebuilt a custom home with additions that doubled the overall size.
The original home includes a 1st Floor Master Suite, a unique Master Bath with a 6' by 6' ceramic tile shower and whirlpool tub, heated floor and more, two more bedrooms and full bath on the second floor, a large cedar storage room and a finished third floor loft.
The addition contains a new custom kitchen with all the modern conveniences but a style that complements the period home. A 16' by 24' Great Room adds a new side entrance with a covered porch and rear entrance from the driveway.
